Test Stella Sora Right Now
Yostar has launched the closed beta test for its upcoming cross-platform RPG, Stella Sora. The test runs from May 28 at 20:00 (UTC-7) to June 8 at 00:00 (UTC-7) on both PC (Windows) and Android devices. Players can explore the continent of Nova and try out core gameplay modes, including Ascension and Menace Arena. Over 2 million players have already pre-registered, and the campaign is still active on the official website.
This beta features limited accounts, no payment options, and will delete all progress at the end of the test. At the beginning of the game, players choose a Displayed Appearance to represent themselves in the story. They can change this later, and it directly affects how characters address them and how they appear in-game.
Players will encounter up to 20 unique Traveler Maidens, also known as Trekkers, through the recruitment system. Each Trekker brings distinct combat abilities and unlockable content, including personal stories, memories, and awakened illustrations. The game includes Chinese and Japanese voiceovers, although some animations are still being optimized.
The test gives access to Chapters 1 and 2 of the main storyline. While these chapters include voiceovers and full scenes, all content remains subject to changes in the final version.
There is also Monolith Exploration, a new gameplay mode introduced in this test, that challenges players to form a team of three Trekkers and venture through procedurally generated stages. As they progress, they receive random combat boosts to strengthen their team. Players must also make strategic decisions during high-risk, high-reward encounters. After completing runs, they can save custom squad setups for future missions. These formations help players build effective strategies based on stage conditions and elemental affinities.
So, what are you waiting for? Get right onto it and experience this thrilling RPG.
